How to make your own Salty Egg

Ingredients:
1-2 dozen egg
1 cup salt
2 liter water
Direction :
Put all egg in a can/small container
Add salt in 500ml boiled water and add the rest of the water then mix it
Put the water into the can for about 1-2 weeks until become Salty Egg
The can can be kept in the refrigerator

Last Sunday, before the service begun
One of the woman who stand to greet us, give each of us an egg
The egg wrapped in a colorful art paper, very nice
They also stamp a verse and I think each egg have different verse
And the egg that has already given to you means that the verse is belong to you
The verse is what God wants to remind you for this Easter...
Back to my egg...
I thought it was a chicken egg like usual, but I was wrong
They don't use chicken egg anymore because it's rather difficult to boil chicken egg without broken the cell
Now they use Salty Egg
What I mean is Telur Asin!

Sambal Dabu-dabu

Ingredients :
Tomato
Chili
Shallots
Lemon
Salt
Sugar

Direction :
Chopped tomato, chili and shallots
Put in a bowl than pour the lemon
Add salt and sugar, mix
Put in the refrigerator for about 30' and taste the freshness

Sambal Dabu-dabu is very tasty to eat with fried fish or grill fish

Ingredients:
Kangkung
Onion, chopped
Shallot, chopped
Small chili, chopped
Salt
Pepper
Sugar
Salt soy
Oyster sauce

Direction:
Heat oil on medium high heat
Add onion, shallot, small chili - fried until golden
Add kangkung, oyster sauce, salt pepper, sugar, pepper and salt
Mix for about 3-4 minutes
Ready to serve!

Almost every Sunday, my husband and I have a new activity that become our tradition between us
We spend our time together to fill crossword
We always want to be the first to open the newest newspaper either 'KOMPAS" or "JAWA POS"
Find the page, prepare a colorful pen and then...start to fill some blank box on crossword

Sometime we ask each other if there's a question that we don't know the answer
But sometime we also keep silent through the time we concentrate to fill the blank box...hahahha

For us:
Crossword challenge our knowledge
Crossword sharpen our intuition and mind
And with crossword we find our closeness...

While washing trousers

This is a funny thought that slip in my mind when I washed my husband trousers this afternoon
Many times I ask God, why He didn't give me more taller husband Why He only prepares me a short guy
(My husband is only 5-10cm taller than me:)
And now, I know the reason...If God send me bule (a common name for person from europe/usa) or someone taller/bigger than my husband now
God knows that I don't have enough energy to wash longer and bigger trouser hehehehe

It is true!
Because washing a trouser need a huge energy...
So, I think I can accept the reason...
God knows my capasity
He knows everything about me and He also knows everything about you

My Ergonomic Helmet

What is a helmet used for?
Everyone knows that a helmet is used for protecting our head when we are riding a bicycle or a motor cycle
But, two days ago, I found another function of my helmet
Look down and see by your self...
Yes, my helmet can also be a pillow for me
It's very ergonomic and I feel so safe in it...hahahaha
No noise around, only peace and relax
Just try with your helmet and feel the sensation!

Ambitions

I believe everyone of us has ambition in life. It can be very different from each other but sometime it can be the same
I have not only one ambition for sure, but many and I believe I can achieve it someday according to HIS perfect time

And here is my story about my ambitions in life - my dreams - my hopes
According to Wikipedia, ambition is Motivation, especially to improve a situation, and power

I plan to have a boy friend that will be my future husband on age 25 - SUCCESS
I plan to get marry on age 27 - SUCCES
I plan to continue my study with scholarship - STILL IN PROGRESS
I plan to have a closer home near my office - STILL EARNING & SAVING MORE MONEY
I wish my side job will earn me more income
I wish to have kids on age 28-29
I wish I could play piano before 30 - Will it be a dream or reality? - Let's find out...

One thing that I could tell you is about my ambition to swim
Once in life, I've ever joined swimming lesson when I was 6/7
My Mom brought me a beautiful swim suit and I've been so impatient to wait my first day for my swimming lesson
On that day, gather with my friend, about 5-10 kids, we started our first lesson
One by one, the trainer, pull our head down to the water form about 2-3 second (now I know that it's a breathing practice for beginner)
At that time I was not ready to do it, my face was so scared and my heart beat so fast but nothing I could do
I saw most of my friend dare to do it, why I should not?
So, when the trainer walked closer to me, I kept silent and waiting for what he done with me
After he pulled my head down to the water, I felt so scared, really scared. I felt I was drowning and no one help me
I bring that feeling until I'm 24...

Yes, almost 18 years I feel so afraid and insecure with water
I always say no when my friends ask me to join swimming with them
I give them many reason.... thus in a way, I feel so dissapointed with my self because of my disabilities of swimming

And when I started to work at Pelangi Kristus, I met with some mommies who had the same problem with me
They are afraid with water but in the other hand they really want to learn how to swim because they want to accompany their children playing in the swimming pool
After couple of chit and chat, we decided to join swimming club in the same place where our children also learn to swim but we come sooner than the kids - with scared and hesitate I join with them

Before the first meeting, I brought a red swim suit, a swim cap and a swim glasses
I thought that I would be embrassed my self if I've already brought these things but still I couldn't swim
First meeting, I struggle with my feeling - should I continue my feeling or let it go and let it be
With full equipment in my body, I choose to enter the swimming pool
For about 2 months after my difficult decision - the result is I can swim...!!!
Now I never neglect my friends when they ask me to swim together hehhehe

Back to my ambition
My biggest ambition now is to play piano
I believe nothing is impossible - everything is possible if we try... hard :)
I have no knowledge about music what I know is do re mi...
I dream someday I could play piano at church
I dream someday I would play my piano for my children
Anyone interested to teach me or may be just telling me what first step should I prepare
I'm waiting..

On diet

These days, I've been so worried about my self because of my weight
Every time I look on a mirror, I say to my self, who are you? why are so big??hehehhe
I really do not have any idea why my body now look so wide and big
I used to be so skinny and... what's going wrong with my me anyway???

I keep thinking and wondering
What should I do to reduce my weight and burning my fat
I feel that all over my body full with fat
From face, breast, tummy and leg are so big

So, I decide to think over what steps should I take to reorganize my body to be like a supermodel again
Reduce salt - It so hard, I like salty food anyway. I can't eat food without salt in it - FAIL
Reduce sugar - It's easier for me not to consume much sugar than salt. I train my self not to order Sweet Ice Tea anymore and change with Plain Ice Tea - SUCCESS
Reduce oil and fry food - Difficult to realize. I like fry food rather than anything. I try to delimit my self by eating more soup without using oil - FAIL
Buy book : eating based on my blood type - The book said that they forbid me from consuming chicken, duck, frog, beef, crab, shrimp, banana, etc (it's all my favorites!). My priority should be to lamb, fish, calamari, rabbit,egg, grape, etc. I get stuck when almost everyday in my life I eat what do we call chicken.Chicken come up in every menus like ceker, soto, fried chicken, and many other various menus - FAIL
Eat more Protein than Carbohydrate - I should eat more vegetable and fruit more than white rice, chicken, beef and others - SUCCESS
Do more exercise - If it happen, it just like a dream comes true. I love to swim. I don't mine if my skin become darker. What I'm thinking is beyond that, which is how to ask David to swim with me? He always reject the ideas for many reason. About the time, who will be our friends, the prices, etc - FAIL

So what will happen with me if I still can't make all of these 6 steps works on me?
I'll be fatter, of course!

Mojopahit Agro Lestari

Last holiday we had a retreat at Sativa - Pacet
The place called Mojopahit Agro Lestari - MAL
We've been there for the second time and because we love it, we choose to visit this place once again gathering with our friends

Price to stay at MAL is cheap enough
Per person, you will charge 90.000 rupiah/night - if you go with at least 40 person
With the price above, they give you breakfast, lunch and dinner plus 2 snacks in the morning and in the afternoon (snack consist of a slice of bread and hot tea/coffee)

Wanna swim?
MAL offer 2 middle swimming pool with beautiful scenery
You have to pay only 10.000 rupiah/person to swim all long as you want
The places are very clean and neat. There are many trees and flower around the swimming pool
They also have small swimming pool for kids

MAL is very suitable for office gathering, meeting with friends and recreation
A place called JOGLO, in the middle of buildings, with open air area is a very nice place to chit and chat
Walk for about 1km, you will find a water fall and small river with rocks and snail
The water is so fresh but not too cold

Many wide area at MAL, for men, they can play football
There are also planting nursery where you can buy kind of plants and flower
They also offer some classes if you want to learn more and have real experience in planting rice seed

Sativa (MAL is part of Sativa) has become our honeymoon place
Yes, I've been there with my husband last year and we spent a great time
So, Sativa (including MAL) is highly recommended place to visit for your holiday.

I can cook Angsio Kaki Ayam

Before I got married, David sometime asked me to do extra practice on my cooking experience
He urged me to cook many kind of foods
From soup (he likes soup so muucchh....), snack, lunch and dinner
And for so many reason, mostly my cooking was not run well
But David never say no to what ever I made ...and He never felt sick because of my food
Thank God for it!!.. hehehhe

And now my cooking experience become richer and I used to be a chef, at least for my small family
I've tried to make what ever David asks me to make and it works!
But sometime I also try some recipes in the internet
And David always be the first to be my victim... :)

Today, my Mom tells me that she has 'ceker' (chicken's foot)
And she asks me to try new recipe that I gave to her yesterday from the internet
The recipe is rather complicated - ANGSIO KAKI AYAM
There are many ingredients that I don't have in my kitchen so I have to mix and make new formulation for my angsio kaki ayam...
And here is my own recipe, my creativity..

Ingredients:
8 - 10 chicken foot (ceker), boil for about an hour
3 - 5 onion - chopped
1cm ginger
2 - 3 chili - chopped
2 spoon oyster sauce
1 spoon salt soy
2 spoon tauco
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon pepper
250ml water
a bowl of ice water

Directions:
Heat oil in a medium wok on medium high heat
Add chicken foot (ceker), fried until crispy
Put 'ceker' in the ice water for about 30'

Heat 2 spoon of oil
Add onion, ginger, chili until golden, mix well
Add oyster sauce, salt soy, tauco - mix well and add water
Then put all 'ceker' on it, add sugar, salt and pepper
Boil until the water is almost dry
Finish...

And here is the result.... looks so yummy, right???

Being a Wedding Planner

I've been a wedding planner for so many times
Especially for my closest friends

My first experience began in 2004
First couple who asked my help was Kak Adi - Kak Veera
Making church liturgy, set the timing, arrange final general repetition, etc
Every detail must be prepared, nothing left
And it was successful!

Second experience was in 2005
Bedjo - Yohana
At that time, I worked with some of my friends
We only managed the reception
And it was held at multifunction hall belongs to the church
We made many surprise moments for Bedjo and Yohana
We made them dance - first dance as husband and wife
We asked Bedjo to persuade Yohana..say sweet words and give her roses
and for their wedding kiss, we made many posters saying I love you in many languages...
We drop the poster one by one from the second floor so the guest can enjoy with surprise..

Third experience also in 2005
Budiarto David - Luciana
I just help as a bride maid
Helping to arrange the guest at Oriental Restaurant
It was a nice experience, unforgettable thing because most of my friend did not recognize me hehehhe
Yes, at that time I done some make up for my face and hair
I looked so pretty and skinny..hehehhe

Fourth experience was in 2007
After planning my own wedding on March 2007
I was asking to help Armand - Lusi on August 2007
My duty was to be an usherAt that time, I was wearing a beautiful green gown with pink laces
My sandals was new, pink with ribbon on it...
Which one is me....??? :)Next, I still have 2 promises to be a wedding planner
1. on July - Eko & Diana
2. on August - Agus & Dita

I believe it will be a great wedding
A lots of new experience will come up
Special and unique ideas will be arranged
Woow... I can't wait their BIG day..

Extend Driving License

Yesterday my friend asked me where she could extend her driving license
And I told her that now she could do it at some plaza
There are many choices, just pick one of them, choose the nearest location with you
And my friend chose to arrange it at Plaza Tunjungan

Yes, the Police Station now open at Plaza Tunjungan 2
In front of KFC, near Hoka-hoka Bento
The place called SIM CORNER

The process to extend a driving license is so fast
You only need not more that 30' and your driving license is ready on your hand
You don't need 'calo/makelar' anymore because you can do it by your self...because the office is open from 10am until 8pm, Monday to Sunday - everyday!
You still have much time, after your working hour you can stop at Plaza Tunjungan 2, or anywhere close with you
It's so amazing right.....??? In Indonesia you can do it by your self... what a miracle...!!
Just like a dream comes true..

The cost is fixed
